Once you’ve departed from Airlie Beach, you will travel on the smooth, fast paced catamaran to Tongue Bay—where you will experience the soft, gorgeous white sands and clear blue waters of famous Whitehaven Beach (rated the #1 best beach in Queensland according to Trip Advisor).

There’s so much to do here—climb the rocks, sunbathe in the glorious warm sun, paddle in the amazingly clear, shallow waters, build sandcastles, take pictures—the only limit is your imagination! Not to mention that the unique, 97% pure silicon sands actually reflect sunlight—so you’ll get to experience the fun and freedom of a beach day without burning the soles of your feet!

While at Whitehaven Beach, you’ll also get to enjoy a guided bushwalk up to Hill Inlet Lookout and get those once in a lifetime photos of the swirling sands in the clear, green-blue waters. Along the way, you might come across some friendly, local wildlife—including birds, reptiles, fish, baby stingrays and baby sharks!

Afterwards, you’ll stop for lunch onboard the Thundercat vessel and enjoy homemade brownies, as well as a mouthwatering buffet lunch—which includes Chinese noodle salad, fresh pasta salad, cold sliced meat and cheese platter, zucchini frittata and quiche Lorraine, as well as a salad platter and bread rolls.

Embark upon the sparkling, blue seas once more as you travel to two popular snorkeling locations fringing on the incredible and stunning Great Barrier Reef. You’ll be given free use of snorkeling equipment, as well as stinger suit hire and wetsuit hire during the Winter months.
