Whitsundays Accessible tours with Red Cat Adventures

At Red Cat Adventures, we’re committed to ensuring everyone can enjoy our tours around the breathtaking Whitsunday and Mackay regions. While we don’t offer tours specifically labelled as inclusive, we’re happy to customise our experiences to accommodate your needs. Whether it’s ensuring enough space, assisting with accessibility, or providing additional support, we’re here to help. Our priority is to be transparent about our offerings and to work closely with you to make your adventure as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Our Staff

Our friendly staff are trained in disability awareness, ensuring a welcoming experience for all. With multiple awards from regional to national levels, including recognition for our exceptional service, you can trust our team to assist you in finding the perfect tour tailored to your needs.

The ‘Wildcat’ Vessel

In 2021, we welcomed the newest addition to our fleet, the “Wildcat”. This vessel is our most accessible option, equipped with a tie-down point for one wheelchair. While there are amenities onboard, please be aware that they are not wheelchair-friendly, requiring guests with mobility challenges to have sufficient upper body strength to utilise the bathroom. However, our dedicated staff are always on hand to provide assistance in any way possible.

We recommend calling our reservations team for what tours are available on Wildcat.

Which Whitsunday or Mackay tour would be most accessible friendly?

Departing from both Mackay and Airlie Beach, Red Cat Adventures promises an incredible day out. For those seeking wheelchair accessibility, please get in touch with our reservation team before booking so we can guide you through our ease of access from Airlie Beach and Mackay Marina.

Important Information:

  • Mackay Marina is more accessible-friendly
  • Tours require guests to be fit with upper body strength
  • Aimed at fit and adventurous individuals
  • Vessels may be noisy
  • Guests with noise sensitivity should be prepared
