We currently have three catamarans which we use in our tours:

Thundercat

This is the catamaran we use for our Thundercat Day Tour—which takes you to all the best hot spots The Whitsundays has to offer. The multi-award-winning tour is fast paced, exciting, and our guests always have a blast!

Seating 32 guests, it’s one of the fastest catamaran boats in the Whitsundays—and the speed also gives it stability that alleviates sea-sickness (resulting in peak comfort while sight-seeing all the lush, tropical islands!)

The seats are designed to give passengers back support and offer a comfortable and stylish way to travel around the islands. The boat is also fairly spacious—so you’re not crammed in with the other guests and you can take incredible pictures of marine life and landmarks.

An on-board toilet offers additional comfort for passengers throughout the day as well—after all, you spend your entire day exploring beaches (such as Whitehaven Beach) and snorkelling fringing reefs—so the last thing you want is to be busting the entire time! More information and bookings

Whitsundays Catamarans Thundercat Tongarra and Wildcat

Tongarra

Our 12 x 8 metre single masted catamaran vessel Tongarra is our sailing vessel for the 2-day, 2-night Tongarra tour.

This awesome catamaran has a massive deck space for backpackers and travellers to sunbathe and sightsee while we show them around the Whitsunday Islands. Very few Whitsunday catamarans are as impressive as Tongarra—which houses a spacious saloon area to chill out in, private bunk bed spaces (for those who aren’t out sleeping under the stars), and relaxing hot showers onboard following an exciting day out snorkelling the reef.

Wildcat Catamaran on the way to the Whitsundays

Wildcat

Thundercat has a sister vessel called Wildcat, which is designed exactly the same and used for the incredible Ride-To-Paradise tour.

If getting to explore The Whitsundays in one day just isn’t enough, and you prefer accommodations safely back on shore, then Ride-To-Paradise is the perfect tour for you. This 2-day, 2-night tour takes you out to Whitehaven Beach, stunning snorkelling spots, sandbars, and sightseeing around the islands too!
